Why Do You Love You Essay
All Of You
When you love someone, you have to love someone whole.
You can never love bits and parts of someone and say "I love you."
When you tell someone you love them, you are speaking to their whole being.
You are saying "I love YOU," which tells me that you can't fully love a person in parts.
The highest form of love knows all of the deep roots of the person and loves them anyway, forgives them anyway, and accepts them as they are anyway.
Love is when nothing is hidden, when you accept the other's soul, fully, with no judgment.
That is the only way love can never die.

Well, how about we stop blaming and we do something about it. If anyone has the power, it starts with you and it starts with me. It starts with us. Not tomorrow, but now. Right this second. So many of us crave love, but we do everything in our power to try to destroy it. We do everything in our power to find everything, but love. We search for fulfillment in temporary things. Love is way deeper than the surface. It is much deeper than something that comes and goes. I am not sure what it is, but I know what it is not. Love thrives in the foundation of its roots, and you cannot create it if you don't search for its layers deep in the soil–way beyond what is seen. You are always, always searching for better and better and never content with what you have because you don't pick what you have with your soul. If you would even entertain something that is not the best for your soul, you are settling. That is why I don't believe in options. I wouldn't even know where to begin to try and divide my soul, giving parts of it to different people. I would never be fulfilled. Love never left. We have left it. If you pay attention, you'll
Essays in Love
Essays in Love is a novel about two young people, who meet on an airplane between London and Paris and rapidly fall in love. The structure of the story isn't unusual, but what lends the book its interest is the extraordinary depth with which the emotions involved in the relationship are analysed. Love comes under the philosophical microscope. An entire chapter is devoted to the nuances and subtexts of an initial date. Another chapter mulls over the question of how and when to say 'I love you'. There's an essay on how uncomfortable it can be to disagree with a lover's taste in shoes and a lengthy discussion about the role of guilt in love.

The phrase, love makes the world go round is very true. It 's is our driving force, for what ever reason it may be. Poems, plays, and legends can only briefly touch the true meaning of love. Love
Love is difficult to define, difficult to measure, and difficult to understand. Love is what great writers write about, great singers sing about, and great philosophers ponder. Love is a powerful emotion, for which there is no wrong definition, for it suits each and every person differently. Whether love is between family, friends, or lovers, it is an overwhelming emotion that can be experienced in many different ways.
People experience love for the first time by being part of a family. Family love is demonstrated through lessons of sacrifice, concern and compassion, from the cradle to the grave. There are many different levels and conditions of family love. It is the love we cherish between our intermediate family and our...show more content...
A close–knit loving bond between two people can begin with a friendship. Whether it is a friendship between two males, two females, or one male and one female, these friendships will develop into love. In no way is it a romantic love, but this type of love connects and bonds friends. Friends may move away or friendships may wane, but the love between the two people burns on forever.
Romantic love is a love that not every person will experience. It is a type of love that is not there at the beginning, but grows within the individual. When one finally finds the love they have been looking for, one can not imagine life with anybody else. Romantic love is a connection between two souls that is captured with a feeling that is not only felt within the heart but within their body as well. I have never been in love with a girl; I can only imagine what it might be like to be in love. Guessing from my sister's relationship with boys, it seems like a big headache instead of a wonderful feeling.
To simply write a definition of love is complicated because every person has a different perception of love. The only way to capture the true meaning of love is to experience the feeling and find out for oneself, what love is. In our lives and the lives of others, love is evident. Whether it is between family, friends, or lovers, love is a precious
What is Love? Essay
Love, Love, Love. We all think about it, dream about it, sing about it, and even lose sleep worrying about it, but why? Love is such a small word paired with a vital meaning. It's universal, easy to spell, difficult to define, but impossible to live without. When we don't have it, we search for it, when we find it, we don't know what to do with it, when we have it, we fear losing it. Love is the constant source of happiness and sorrow. I am young and I haven't a clue as to what love is, let alone what falling in love is. However, I have my ideas of what love is like. I have never witnessed the beauty of people falling in love, or the severity of those falling out of love, so what is love?

I think falling in love with someone happens when you least expect it to, when you're too busy focusing on other aspects of your life. This is where fate comes into play. That specific person was led to you for some unknown reason. Out of the blues, it's like your knight in shining amour that you have longed to be with finally found his/her way to you. There are people in this world that think they may never fall in love again. You fall at times, but you get back up. You will love again, and you will also trust again. You have to simply let things get themselves done, that's when you know it's meant to be, because destiny took its course, and while you were too busy doing something else, the love of your life came along.
Love dates way back to when the world began. In reality, we really have no idea what love truly is. Raising questions like, is it even real? We watch love movies, read romance novels, but that's the sugar–coated, sweet and simple version of it. Meeting someone, fall in love, get married, have kids, spend the rest of your lives together. What about the suffering we have to endure when falling in love? Risking everything for that one person? And even when we feel we've reached the end of the road, this person has the power to leave us at any given moment. We put ourselves out there with the chance they can break us apart.

Reflective Essay About Love
Before I begin, love has a substantial meaning to me like the Golden Rule. As a young adult, I thrive to change the word love. In every century, the word love is frequently overused and it is prosaic. Over the years, I finally understood that there is no eminent word to substitute love. Trust me, I had constantly searched across overseas on voyages with your daddy. The word love is the only form of vocal expression that I can assure you my affection towards you. I was crazy enough to involve Pedro in my destiny. Overall, the concept of it, just felt right, I thoroughly thought about our relationship for the future. I came to a realization, if I ever wanted our relationship to be a committed relationship. It would be best, if we both mature up, continue our bond as friends. Hopefully one day, Pedro would swept me off my feet.
One great advice, I can give to you is wait for your true love to approach you. The significance of the person approaching you, just justifies that the person is serious about you and there is a possibility for a committed relationship. I certainly did, however, in my junior year, I identified Pedro as my friend and nothing else. My dreams were still present, but I preferred at the time his friendship over a romantic one.

Essay On Love By Shakespeare
Through this sonnet, Shakespeare tries to define what the phenomenon of Love is all about, by first stating what it isn't, then asserting what it is.
He starts with rejecting the marriage done for logical and sensible reasons stating that there are too many obstructions in the path of such relationships. He then condemns the love which changes with the changing circumstances of life, or ends with death, claiming that that isn't true love. Comparing it to the North Star and using nautical terms, Shakespeare then designate love as a solid constant remainder. He describes the intensity and ferocity of the emotion as such that people who are in love do not back down from whatever challenges and difficulties life throws at them, but face them with...show more content...
The first of these is alliteration which is immediately clear in the first line itself: the repetition of the letter "m" and "t" in "me not to the marriage of true minds" gives the line an internal rhythm. Love is personified several times throughout the sonnet: it isn't something which can change or end, it is constant and solid, it faces "tempests" and is "never shaken." All these instances of attributing the qualities of a person to a mere emotion, serve their purpose in making the Bard's message clear, that love is never ending. One also finds Time to be personified "Love is not Time's fool." This description paints Time as a puppeteer who plays around with everything, controlling everyone, and changing things on a whim, which is a repeating idea in many of Shakespeare's other sonnets plays and poems. Yet love is set apart from the rest of all the emotions that one feels: it is something which Time can exercise no right over, as it is independent of all sorts of manipulations. Visual imagery is then evoked to further emphasize this point and the picture of Old Keen Time shuffles on wielding a huge sickle, yet Love continues to evade its grasp, appears in the

Have the love poems, you have read given you a better insight into the emotion of love?
The subject of 'Love Poetry' has given rise to some of the most beautiful and fascinating poetry. The poets illustrate their feelings, or the feelings of the people concerned with them through the use of figurative language. A love poem is not necessarily a poem about romantic love, about romance, marriage and commitment; it could be something else entirely. It seems to be Universal. Timeless. Yet, it's also very individual, filtered by our own lives and expectations. Love can be a different thing for each one of us. Not all love poems deal with happy positive sides of love but there is also the negative sides such as pain,...show more content...
'do not grieve' , she does not want her lover to feel that her love is possessive, she does not want him to feel guilty. She wants him to cherish good times that they had, 'forget and smile'.
The tone throughout is melancholy and emotional as the poet talks about her approaching death. The sonnet form is suitably used because the poet is telling her husband on how death will take over their love. She accepts death in a philosophical manner. Although she is physically dead she wants to be remembered.
Christina Rossetti shows us how death can bring a blissful relationship to an end, but she also shows that love can exist even after death if it has withstood the test of time. She repeats the title 'remember' throughout the poem as a technique to emphasize that she really wants to be remembered. Poet Rossetti wants to be remembered by her love even if 'darkness and corruption leave'. Yet her love is unselfish.
Here a poem by Christina Rossetti's, 'A Birthday', is a contrast to

Essay about What is Love?
What is love? The type of love I'm describing is the one that gives you butterflies when a certain person comes to mind. Just seeing that particular person can be enough to make one smile and make your day and all the worries go away. Right now that person comes to mind. It's neither a crush nor infatuation and many are willing to do anything for this thing that is called love. Love can hurt in the long run, and people can also be blinded by it. Those who are ready to be loved have to ask themselves if there are emotionally ready for. Many people put up walls to guard their "heart" from being hurt again. Love teaches us many lessons. When we're truly in love with the person we see beyond color or it doesn't matter because that person accepts that person for whom they are. When we love those that a different culture from us we see beyond those imperfections. It's hard to describe 'love' through the sense. When we experience through the sense of sigh its hit us like a stuck of lightening. Almost love at first sight. Love through the sense of touch is when they you or putting their arms around you when you are sitting down. Love through the sense of taste is when the person you are attracted to kisses. When we experience love through the sense of smell when you're used to a certain aroma from that person. You seem to get used to when they wear a certain cologne or perfume that you always loved. When we experience the sense of hear in the relationship when we speak of our day. It's not just to hear them talk it's the emotion that is involved and the way they said. Descriptive Essay About Love
The Merriam–Webster dictionary defines the word love as, "a feeling of strong or constant affection for someone." I personally define love as an unconditional feeling and a feeling of absolute bliss. The five qualities that I believe are the most important in love include dependability, honesty, selflessness, loyalty, and empathy. Most everyone needs someone that will love them unconditionally to help guide them when they are at a low and support them when they are at their high; for me, that person is my best friend and boyfriend, Ean Isaiah Thomsen. Before my sophomore year of high school, Ean Thomsen was not necessarily a person that I was fond of. When we were in our freshmen year, Ean was an immature, obnoxious person, always trying to get attention. On August 29, 2015, I remember feeling my phone buzz in my denim shorts pocket and receiving a text message from Ean Thomsen saying, "Happy Birthday Kena!" From there, we started having random conversations over text and throughout the school days, making me realize that he had matured exponentially over the summer. We began to date on September 29, 2017, and I still remember observing the surprised faces of people when the news had spread; we are currently still together. Ean Thomsen has light brown, silky hair that falls perfectly on his forehead, not shaggy like a dog, but not extremely short either. His deep, dark chocolate brown eyes could easily mesmerize you and he has eyelashes that any girl would envy to have.
Essay On Love Languages
Love Languages
Today, I will be explaining the five basic forms of love languages. They are: physical touch, act of service, words of affirmation, quality time, and receiving gifts. They each represent different characteristics of love people use in a relationship. Some may be used more than others. This is depending on the type of person you are as well as, the person you are in a relationship with. They have a survey that a person can take that explain the type of loving person you are. They find the help as a stress reliever and enjoy the quality time spend with their loved one doing something helpful. The Third type of love language is words of affirmation. This language is basically counterarguing the saying "actions speak louder than words". In other words, for some people words actually have value and meaning. People who Use this language enjoy hearing positive comments from their loved one. They also like to hear the actual words I love you, every time. This is a sign that complements from a loved one makes them feel better when not feeling good or simply to have a simile on their face. In addition, simple words or phrases said to them is all they need to be feeling highly about themselves. Essay on Psychology of Love
The human idea of love is quite possibly the most misunderstood in today's society. Love can be between a man and woman, mother/father and their kids, or even really good friends. However, these relationships of love go through many interactions and stages to start and progress. Many psychological events must occur and be worked through in order to be successful. All relationships must endure the five perspectives of human behavior. These perspectives are biological, learning, social and cultural, cognitive, and psychodynamic influences.
First we will look into the biological aspect of human behavior. Biological pertains to one's body chemistry and from a psychological standpoint the chemistry of the brain. No two people have exactly the...show more content...
Due to our behavioral aspect these new situations may be hard for us to handle. One person might be set in their ways and have a hard time coping with change. This leads to moments of stress, possible anger, as well as other emotions of the body. These negative experiences can lead to a change in genetics in the body. In order to help the relationship stay strong and survive these changes both partners must examine themselves and understand what forces of nature are in their control and how they can effectively combat the situation. When these problems arise it is the responsibility of the unaffected partner to be there with kindness, love, and support for the other person. When these positive reinforces are present the environment around them changes and can lead to a more interactive and happy partner. Although important to a relationship I believe that the biological perspective is one of the lesser forces that impact the relationship.
The second major psychological perspective is that of learning. The perspective of learning is "concerned with how the environment and experience affect a person's actions" (Wade and Tavris, 2011). When applied to a relationship standpoint many factors come into play. As a child who was raised to respect women, my mom always encouraged me to have healthy long–term relationships and not be a "player". This lead to me implementing those ideas into my life and sticking with

Love is a significant aspect in people's lives that requires commitment and attention. Despite the many assumptions on love, it is important to understand that happiness in love comes from sharing not only the good but also the bad. In order to have a successful relationship, there is need to understand that love requires sacrifices as well as endeavoring to cultivate love for mutual benefit. If true love existed in the world, there would be no need for divorce.
Everyone who desires to have a family normally dreams to have a happy relationship that is founded on love. This love in turn breeds optimism and fondness for each other which can be envious to many. Therefore, love is significant aspect in every human being that demands a lot of commitment and attention. However, for any relationship to work, it requires more than just feelings of closeness and promises to live together with one another with a commitment to ideals of a relationship. It is also good to note that in order to form a trusting and positive relationship that is characterized by love takes effort and time. When the partners are able to differentiate facts from their feelings, they are able to see their partners in a more clear way and not through filters of weaknesses they have against their partners.
On the other hand, there are many arguments that dispute the existence of love and only term the relationship between partners as based on mutual interests. Many supporters of this

The poet carries on to say ?Words from my eyes did start;? as if due to the overload of emotion running through his body paralyzing him and making him dumbfound, the young boy desperately wants the girls heavenly eyes to meet with his, as if a sign to recognize him and his feelings towards her. Oblivious to the fact that the young girl still does not recognise his feelings towards here or his existence as a matter of fact; Clare carries on acknowledging his loss, and simultaneously emphasizes his undying love towards her and continuers to secretly admire her.
The poet expresses his loss in such a way that the reader feels sympathetic towards him; secretly admiring and long a woman who does not even know he exists let alone his feelings towards her.

This same disregard for a spouse with whom you are lacking truly love is also present in the marriage of Anna. She does not love her husband and subsequently criticizes him as well, “…but he is a flunkey'; (178).These two situation best illustrate to the reader a typical case of people who remain in non loving relationships, where one spouse ends up disrespecting the other, thus demonstrating the importance of terminating such relationships.
In a relationship or marriage, which is deficient of true love, the unhappy spouse is constantly seeking a means to escape and adventure. This phenomenon is present in the case of Anna, where she does not love her husband so she feels the need to leave her husband for a period of time and lie to him in order to do so. In a conversation with Dmitri, she tells him about her desperation to leave her husband and how it lead her into deceiving him, “I could not be restrained. I told my husband I was ill, and came here…';(178). When love is true, one wants to be with their spouse and not feel the need to leave their side, which is the way Anna feels. Similarly Dmitri, due to his lack of love for his wife felt compelled to desert his wife and consequently seek adventure. His adventures and happiness were rooted in his affairs, which he perpetually had with new women. From these two examples we see the ramifications of remaining in a relationship lacking true love.

Love And Romance Essay
How has our perception of love changed throughout the centuries? In today's media, our perception of romance has been distorted due to movies, tv shows, and songs. While in the Middle Ages, literature and ballads were how most people learned about romantic love. "Stories told through the ages to describe variations of love as it is found, challenged, lost, denied or thwarted, only to flare up again, carrying all before it, or else destroying the lovers in a conflagration of desire ." Although, our culture is more open and accepting of relationships, in the Middle Ages, secrecy and adulterous relationships were normal in order to have love and romance.
In Andreas Capellanus' "The Art of Courtly Love ," in a letter from the Countess Marie of Champagne, she states that it wasn't possible to experience courtly love with your spouse. Yet, sexual contact typically had nothing to do with courtly love. Most of us consider sexual acts to be something shared between lovers. But at medieval court, the term 'lover' referred to the person with whom someone danced, giggled, and held hands. As long as the rules relating to chastity and fidelity were strictly adhered to, such as having heirs with your spouse or waiting to have intercourse until marriage, you could go outside of the marriage to find romance and love . Why did love and marriage have nothing to do with each other? At the time, noble marriages were often arranged in order to increase the status and wealth of each family. It
