My Hero
What is a hero? In my view a hero is someone that you admire. You may admirer them for their achievements, outlooks in life or maybe just because they are famous. In this case I admire my hero for his courage and his determination all through his personal life and his career.
This story begins in Bellshill near Glasgow 24th September 1962 where a Glaswegian boy was born. His parents Alexander and May called their miracle Alistair Murdoch McCoist. If only his parents had known the difference this baby boy would make to Scottish football in years to come. These came around in the semi–final of the 91/92 Scottish Cup once again against Celtic. The Gers were down to 10 men and playing the worst football in the clubs history. Shortly after half–time Ally coolly scores the winning goal. After this wonderful period, Rangers begin to struggle. As a result a new manager was brought in to the club and the fight to victory begins. Rangers then win 10 leagues in a row with the help of Mc Coist's goal scoring phenomenon. Every time
Ally was off the bench (which was almost every game) he scored at least one goal. New manager Greame Souness then formed "The Mo
Partnership" with Ally and Maurice Johnson a fellow midfielder. The two of them were amazing together and were practically un–defietable.
Greame Souness and Ally then had a disagreement and the striker was constantly on the bench, not understanding why! This was when an unwanted nickname of Ally's appeared he was known as "The Judge" this was also partly because Mark Hately had joined the team and was some competition for the Mr Mc Coist's spot on the champion side.
Unfortunately Ally's career at Rangers was beginning to come to a stand still. To show how much he was loved at Rangers 42,000 people packed into the newly refurbished Ibrox stadium for his testimonial in
August 93. After his testimonial news was heard that surprisingly his

My Hero Essay
My Hero My hero is one that is very close to me. My hero is the person that gave birth to me. My hero is my mother. I chose my mom as my hero because to me that is what she is and more. My mom is literally the backbone in the family. She takes care of everything in the family and around the house. Before I began to drive my mom would take me everywhere. My mother like many others has been to the moon and back just to help me. She is such a kind person, she gives me advice about anything, she is always helping me convince my dad about anything, and most importantly she helps me get away with everything. My mom is not just my mother she is more than that, she is like the best friend I could ever have. I remember the amount of times that...show more content...
When she got here from Cuba she immediately looked for a job so that my dad wouldn't have to work 24 hours driving a truck all over the Florida to get money. So he kept his day shift and she got a night shift at a station. She was there for about a year then she began to study to become a beautician and she achieved in doing so. It took too many hours away from me so she left her job to take care of elderly people during the day and clean peoples homes during the weekends to make a little extra money. She didn't want my dad to have me to himself all night long she wanted that quality time with me. I can even explain how much I appreciate all the things she did for me. I understand now how hard it was for them to spend time with me and get money. I remember that my first christmas in America I literally got nothing because my parents couldn't afford it, basically they couldn't afford anything. There was even a time where they both had to work full day shifts just to be able to pay the rent. My mom worked in everything she could find and everything she did, she did more than good. My mom had never worked a day in her life until she got to America. She did it because she couldn't bare to watch my dad kill himself at work and her do nothing. Though she may sometimes get annoyed by me, I always demonstrate affection towards her. She even gets mad sometimes but I don't care because she gets over it soon enough. My mom is my confidant and I am hers. She comes to me with
My Hero Is A Hero
Spiderman, Batman, Superman, Wonder woman are all heroes, or what I thought was a hero. As a little kid, I thought a hero was someone with an incredible superpower that always caught and destroyed the villain. I thought a hero was someone that stopped crime to become the Man or Woman of the world. That turned out to be completely false. These "superheroes" were just fictional characters, made up to keep people entertained but I know that now and have a new definition of a hero. Heroes are real people; you see as a good influence or role model in your life. Whether you know your "hero" personally or not, anyone can be seen as a hero. A parent, sport player, teacher, uncle, actor, as long as you feel a connection and they show you something in life, they are a hero to you. A hero varies towards different people, for me, it is a person that I look up to for advice. I have had multiple heroes in my life because each individual teaches me a quality that I can only get from that certain person. I respect some of the heroes I have more than I do others, just because of the connection I feel with them. A hero that I have in my life is my uncle. He has been my closest uncle I have ever had since I was a little kid. I always looked up to him as a role model because he acts like he can do almost anything. When he was younger, he had a really bad stutter. He was not easily to understood, but he overthrew that. He practiced, trying his very best to get better, and after a
