Advantages And Disadvantages Of Tech Start-Up

Tech start–up have a limited range of vision and must most of the time; they follow what seems the most valuable to them. The severity of a systemic risk related to technology is not mentioned in the literature by the authors. Chetan Bhagat As A Social Character Analysis
The novel is essentially a social form. It explores the condition of the human beings through the mental struggle and body language, quite before they get into action. It is like focusing on the stalking of the lion rather than pouncing upon the prey.4 (Singh: 2004, 2)
Bhagat strives to describe the mental stirrings of his human resources. His characters read the words and foresee the action. Therefore, novel is a wide–ranging literary form. It is a derivative of the Italian word 'novella', which means to portray a short, compact and broadly realistic story. It deals with a human character in a social situation, man as a social being. It places more weight on character, especially one attractive character, than on plot. Anita Singh highlights...show more content...
He has endowed the genre with healthy comedy and optimistic approach to life. Like R. K. Narayan, he does not create Malgudi village and pick up the characters from here. He chooses the human resources from the real–life metropolis. His novels go around the lives of the youth. He exactly portrays their real–life pictures and entertains all class and cadre of people. Bhagat writes about the youth and especially for the youth. However, the people of all age groups love to read him. Everyone experiences as if Bhagat writes to him. He writes so simple that everyone likes him. It is reported that Bhagat's Five Point Someone is set for some tribal children. Perhaps, this has happened first time in the history that an Indian English novel referred to the youth has been given to teach English, the tribal children of the primary school. First time, Bhagat has exposed the rubbish coated with pseudo wisdom–cream of the top institute of the country, IIT. Unlike Tagore and his contemporaries, Bhagat is in support of realism in art. His artistic truth lies within sensory insight. It guides his readers to achieve self–enlightenment. Unlike Tagore, Bhagat wants not only man but also truth in literature. Character is the soul of Bhagat's novels. The plot that is the story is the second important element. So, character is prior to the plot. His novel Five Point Someone was published in 2004 and is still on peak selling list. It got him the Society Young Achiever's Award in the year 2004 and the Publisher's Recognition Award in the year
Analysis Of A Hunter's Home By Chetan Bhagat
The author helps the reader view the character and settings throughout the book by using various techniques. For instance, the author Chetan Bhagat uses imagery to illustrate the setting and characters. For instance, He uses imagery to show the current phase he is in and tries to illustrate a picture in the reader's mind of the therapist's office. This is evident when it states "certificates from the top U.S. universities adorned the walls like the tiger heads in a hunter's home". This shows that the author uses the technique imagery to show how the office looks like in the inside and what he is experiencing. The author is trying to show that he is in a therapist office that is well respected and a master in her field. Another technique the

He appears in the pages of his novel as a soft cushion to suck up the emotional jerks of his characters, as he does with Govind in Three Mistakes of My Life. Mahatma Gandhi And Bhagat Singh
Jeevanjot Singh 800417 Political Science 100 Sarah Munawar Writing of Bhagat Singh and mahatma Gandhi on the use of violence as instrument in politics Violence in politics means to oppose or to struggle against the policies of ruling government or authority by strikes, revolutions, riots, etc. India was ruled by the British government from 1858 to 1947 and this period is called colonial rule. The British government took all the power and control from Indians in very less time. Violence plays a crucial role in every revolution, as it helped India during the independence movement from the "British Raj" where number of freedom fighters such as Lala Lajpat rai, Bhagat Singh and many more lost their lives for the country. At that time two main revolution took place in India, violence and non–violence. Bhagat Singh was "portrayed as a macho gun–toting freedom fighter who believed that violence is more effective a way of achieving independence from British rule" (Saha para 4) whereas "Gandhi took the religious principle of ahimsa (doing no harm) common to Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism and turned it into a non–violent tool for mass action" and demanded the transfer of power from the Britishers (BBC 1). Here, I would like to compare and contrast ideas of Mahatma Gandhi and Bhagat Singh on the use of violence as an instrument of politics. Mahatma Gandhi and Bhagat Singh both were freedom fighters and put their efforts in Independence of India. Gandhi believes in
Shahid Udham Singh
Udham Singh
Udham Singh (December 26, 1899 – July 31, 1940) was an Indian Sikh independence activist, best known for assassinating Michael O'Dwyer in March 1940 in what has been described as an avenging of the Jallianwalla Bagh Massacre.[1]
Udham Singh changed his name to Ram Mohammad Singh Azad and was also known as Ram Mohammed Singh Azad, symbolizing the unification of the three major religions of India: Hinduism, Islam and Sikhism. Singh is considered one of the best–known of the more heroic revolutionaries of the Indian freedom struggle; he is also sometimes referred to as Shaheed–i–Azam Sardar Udham Singh (the expression "Shaheed–i–Azam," Urdu: شهید اعظم, means "the great martyr"). The attack lasted ten minutes. Since the only exit was barred by soldiers, people tried to climb the walls of the park. Some also jumped into a well inside the compound to escape the bullets. A plaque in the monument says that 120 bodies were plucked out of the well alone.[4]
By the time the smoke cleared, hundreds of people had been killed and thousands injured. Official estimates put the figures at 379 killed (337 men, 41 boys and a six week old baby) and 200 injured, but other reports estimated the deaths well over 1,000[5] and possibly 1,300. According to Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya and Lala Girdhari Lal, the deaths were more than 1,000. Swami Shardanand places the figure at more than 1,500.[6] Dr Smith, Civil Surgeon of Amritsar, gives an even larger number: 1,800 dead.[7] The casualty figures were never fully ascertained for political reasons. The wounded could not be moved from where they had fallen, as a curfew had been declared. Debate about the actual figures continues to this day. Official figures say that 1,650 rounds of ammunition had been used.[8]
Udham Singh mainly held Michael O'Dwyer responsible for what came to be known as the Amritsar Massacre. New research supporting this fact reveal the massacre to have occurred with the Governor's full connivance "to teach the Indians a lesson, to make a wide impression and to strike terror through–out Punjab".[9] The incident had greatly shaken young Udham Singh and proved a turning point in his
Book Review: Half Girlfriend By Chetan Bhagat
Book Review: Half Girlfriend
Half girlfriend – another novel by Chetan Bhagat is a simple yet heart touching. As with Chetan Bhagat's other novels it's again a love story with an unpredictable twist in the end. The story revolves around the protagonist– Madhav (poor Bihari boy) and his love Riya (Delhite). They like each other. The boy wanted a relationship but the girl wasn't ready. The story throws some light upon the existing problems in rural India too. From unpredictable twists to jaw dropping moments, it has all of them.
The storyline is quite interesting. The plot is initially set in Delhi at St Stephens where both Madhav and Riya join the college under sports quota. Both of them played basketball–their first point of interaction. Riya...show more content...
Though, the middle part of the plot where he was preparing to impress was extended and quite boring but it didn't spoil the mood given the twist was around the corner. Other elements, like the inferiority complex developed by Madhav due his inability to speak English properly and subsequent overcoming and his desire to improve the schooling in the school and the vivid description of the places, events and characters, made the novel appealing. The twist introduced made the storyline amazing. The idea of dividing the novel in acts is well received too. Although the story could be cut short where Madhav discovers Riya is alive.
By the title "Half Girlfriend", it suggests that it would be somewhere contrasting between a friend and girlfriend or it could be close friends. However, the title "half girlfriend" simply gives a misconception about the storyline. Half girlfriend was merely a term introduced in the story. The only relevance was that the story revolved around Riya who was Madhav's half girlfriend but this alone is not good enough a reason to name it "half girlfriend".
Summing it up, Chetan Bhagat once again has followed his typical love story line in this novel but the plot has been excellently designed to interest everybody. The book is full of drama, love and mystery. Though the usual wit and humour is absent yet Chetan Bhagat has definitely managed to impress the

Bhagat Singh admitted his crime and made statements in the court against the British as a tool to publicise their cause of freedom struggle. However, the court ordered the case to be carried out without members of the association who were present at the hearing. This order produced a chaos amongst the supporters of Bhagat Singh.
Bhagat Singh along with other prisoners launched hunger strike in the jail. The main reason behind this was that the British thieves and murderers were given better treatment than the Indian prisoners. According to law the Indian political prisoners were supposed to be given better rights. Bhagat also demanded that the Indian political prisoners should not be forced to do any sort of undignified work. This hunger strike lasted for 63 days and ended with the submission of British power. With this he gained tremendous popularity.
Ideology of Bhagat Singh

Team Development
(Questions 1, 11)
Teams do not become effective overnight. Team building is a process that requires due attention and care. If you try to skip over important development stages, you risk not forming the solid foundation needed when trouble or setbacks occur.
To build, lead, or participate in a team requires an understanding of the stages of team development. Through extensive research, it has been found that successful teams have certain aspects of their development paths in common. The one that most people are aware of is Tuckman's Forming, Storming, Norming, and Performing model.
Two other factors that significantly increase a team's chances of being effective are having a well thought out team orientation process,...show more content...
It's the vision that motivates and directs a team to reach its goal.
The best teams invest a great deal of time and energy into exploring and understanding the overall purpose and vision of the team. From this vision, a set of goals and objectives emerges that helps the team stay focused and on track.
The key to using vision successfully is making the process of discovering it a participative one. You can tell a team what the vision is and team members may or may not agree that the cause is worth working hard for. If, however, you allow the team to explore the vision, to see how their specific roles fit into the big picture, and provide meaningful opportunities for team members to assist in the team's success, then you have the basis for a high performing team.
To learn more about tying vision to goals see Performance Management and KPIs , The Balanced Scorecard , and Management By Objectives . To learn where you sit on the participative management scale, see the article on the The Blake–Mouton Managerial Grid . The articles on Avoiding Micromanagement andSuccessful Delegation discuss why it is important to provide challenges to your team members and allow them to use their skills and abilities to the fullest.

Five Point Someone By Chetan Bhagat
"Five Point Someone" is a splendid and keen first novel by Chetan Bhagat, who reviews what appear to be the best and hardest years of one 's life. Wonderfully paced and created, the book interests the peruser as much for the amusing mischances concerning the stark substances about the trials confronted by touchy young people amid their upbeat days at the college. Through the companionship of three understudies who are "five–pointers" at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, he digs into the universe of Indian youth inside and without a lifestyle that is fun as well as touchy and testing as well. For the framework we seek to be a piece of in our developmental years pushes us two extremes when the only thing that matters in life resembles an assessment on a 10–point scale.
This novel portrays the narrative of three IIT graduates and their life at India 's Premier Technology Institute. The story is about their companionship and contrasts, study and happiness, profession and desire, parental weight and companion weight, love and sex. What 's more as the subtitle of the novel "What not to do at IIT" – proposes, "This is not a book to show you how to get into IIT or even how to live in school. Indeed, it portrays how botched things can get in the event that you don 't think straight."
The creator Chetan Bhagat himself is an IIT and/IIM graduate. He worked in Hong Kong and afterward migrated to India and working in a venture bank separated from composing books and
