Why is it that by 21 days into the fetal development the baby's heart begins to beat, but yet in most people's eyes the baby is still not 'technically' alive' That heart beat means nothing, it doesn't represent a human person whom God has created in his own image and has had a plan for that baby ever since the beginning of time. To most people that statement isn?t allowing women and their families freedom of choice. And yet that baby isn't given any say in its freedom to live. This paper will give many supporting statistics towards the right to life, I am pro–life.

Adoption is always an option. If having a child will interfere in their lives so much then they should share the gift of a newborn with a couple whom are unable to have children of their own. At least then the mother can move on with her ?responsibilities? and the child isn?t deprived of it?s right to live.
There are different ways to abort a baby, medical, partial–birth and simple procedures during the early weeks of pregnancy. In September, 2000, the U.S. Food and
Drug Administration approved the abortion drug to be marketed in the U.S. as an alternative to surgical abortion. Also called mifepristone, medical abortions are administered within the first nine weeks of pregnancy and stops the development of the baby and will help expel the pregnancy. Women who agree to have a medical abortion must also agree to have a surgical abortion if the mifepristone doesn?t work. About
37,000 medical abortions were performed in the first half of 2001, costing the ?mother? about $490.
Partial–birth abortion is performed in the second and third trimesters and entails inducing a breech delivery with forceps, then delivering the legs, arms and torso only, and puncturing the back of the skull with scissors or a trochar, next by inserting a suction curette into the skull, and suctioning the contents of the skull so as to collapse it, and finally completing the delivery. A partial breech delivery is

The debate on whether abortion should be legal, or illegal has become a controversial topic that has divided the nation into two. The group of people who don't see anything wrong with the issue refer to their group as pro–choice supporters. Their main belief about abortion is that because a woman's body belongs to herself it should be up to her on whether she wants to keep a baby or not. Those who are against abortion and feel it should be illegal think of themselves as pro–life supporters. They believe that a fetus becomes human at conception making abortion murder. In other words, they feel abortion is immoral and should be illegal. People shouldn't view abortion as killing a baby, it's much more than that. Abortion is an option for...show more content...
Furthermore, when did someone's personal decision become open to the public to judge? Why should what one woman do to her body be another woman's concern? Women have the right to their own bodies and should have the choice to treat it how they please. If it's her body, it's her choice. "Abortion is not a decision a woman comes to lightly, rather one of careful consideration and extremely difficult thought. Women do not deserve to be punished and slammed with guilt and humiliation for making a choice that should be entirely hers" (Kaleigh–Ann). Therefore, women shouldn't be punished and crucified by society for what they feel is in best interest of their body and health. Even if they were to take this choice away, you can't force them to see through a healthy pregnancy. At the end of the day it is the woman who makes these choices that must live with them and that shouldn't have to involve the opinions of the government or society.
In addition, abortions due to birth defects are common but are still difficult on the mother. When a mother chooses to abort her baby because of birth defects is once she has searched for multiple second opinions from various doctors and has considered her options and risks. "It will help later to know you had the information verified by a specialist before proceeding" ("Considering Abortion due to Birth Defects"). As stated above whether a woman gets an abortion is her choice and is done after all options have been

An abortion is the "removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus from the uterus, resulting in, or caused by, its death" ("Abortion"). Most women who want to get rid of their unborn child choose abortion as an escape from pregnancy. In the United States of America, women decide to terminate "about 25% of their pregnancies through abortion" ("Overview of Abortion"). They believe that by having an abortion they could do away with the trouble of going through pregnancy, and eventually having to raise a child. There are a lot of reasons why abortion is resorted to and the issue of abortion has caused the never–ending debate between the "pro–lifers" and the "pro–choicers". The former, as the individuals who want to put a stop to abortion as it is a blatant disregard of the fetus' right to life. I am one of the "pro–lifers", and I do believe that abortion should be illegal. It has been said that during the Roman times, "abortion and the destruction of unwanted children was permissible, but as out civilization has aged, it seems that such acts were no longer acceptable by rational human beings, so that in 1948, Canada along with most other nations in the world signed a declaration of the United Nations promising every human being the right to life" ("The Abortion Debate"). Thus, it is unexpected that most countries all over the globe still consider abortion as legal having as basis the decision of the United States Supreme Court in Roe vs. Wade (410 U.S. 113 (1973)). The case involved a pregnant woman who instituted an action scrutinizing the constitutionality of the Texas abortion laws, which proscribes any abortion save for instances where the same is necessary to save the pregnant woman's life ("Major Laws Concerning Abortion"). I believe, however, that the reasoning of the Court in this case is not reasonable. Clearly, the concern is on the woman's exercise of her right to decide while the right of the child or the fetus is being neglected, if not forgotten. It must be borne in mind that "bearing children is the natural result of sexual intercourse under favorable conditions, it is not forced upon women by the United States government" ("9 Reasons"). So also, it is noteworthy that this leading case supporting
The Argument Against Abortion
In our society, everyone has their own opinion about everything. This topic just so happens to be one of those. Abortion is a very touchy subject to some people. Some people are pro–choice, others are pro–life. Some are caught in the middle. Some people think depending on the situation, it should be okay. People base their opinions on their religion, race, culture, political views, and how they were raised. I was raised pro–life depending on the situation. Pro–choice means it is the mother's choice to get an abortion. Pro–life means they are completely against abortion. Is it a living person? Should it be illegal? Is it okay depending on the situation? Everyone has a different opinion. Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy. Abortions

The right to life is the most basic and important right that we have. In the past two hundred years, over one million Americans have died for their country. Monuments have been built and speeches have been delivered, honoring these American heroes. America is now engaged in a war where there are no heroes, no monuments or tributes – only victims. Our society has declared war on its most helpless members – our unborn children. Since that war was declared on January 22, 1973, there have been over 35 million deaths.

I guess not, as long as you are in the womb according this argument. Those unwanted children who have become criminals, while sad, certainly are not sentenced to death that easily and they still have the possibility of changing their lives. Allowing abortion because of the mere possibility of becoming a criminal would seem to mean it is permissible to use the death penalty for a lot more than just murder if taken to its logical and frightening conclusions. Abortion for this reason just takes us off the hook for showing love and concern to these unwanted children, but that would be more time consuming and difficult and not always successful and, quite frankly, just not as convenient for us.
Assume that the practice of drinking milk was widely considered immoral and that the evilness of drinking milk was obvious to everyone, including children. What is the best way for a minority of milk drinkers to get their behavior accepted by the majority? The milk drinkers know that they cannot convince enough people to accept their position by direct argument alone. The only way to get immoral behavior accepted would be to change the definition of commonly understood words. For example, they might refer to milk as flavored water and to drink flavored water is not immoral. The pro–abortion activists have imposed this same

In humanity today exits a covenant that when fertilization converts to human life, that the human being must be secure. Currently many individuals, societies and religions have ardently held incompatible beliefs about when human life originates. Is a child a human life at labor or even before, fetus a human life at beginning? Nowadays, this battle goes hand in hand with that question of abortion.
Generating so much polemic over this delicate issue the congress has been debating over this issue for decades. This argument brings to the table yet another rigorous question, whether there should be a constitutional amendment banning abortion?

Having studied this topic before, I have looked at most aspects of both sides of the issue, and agree with many arguments equally. Even though it is not understood, relating both sides' views hold many agreements. Most would agree that the life of a child is a precious thing that deserves the full defense of the law. More would agree that it's a woman's private right to make decisions concerning her body. The main conflict that keeps the two sides from getting along is when the fetus becomes a child, because it now jumps to a position where if the woman decides to commit abortion will also be considered murder, and on the other hand concluding with birth will harm the child in other areas of his life. When it becomes down to deciding which side I am for, I would say I advocate in favor of pro–choice and stick to their views. I rely on the rights should constantly stay there for a woman to decide on whether or not to have her

Abortion is a serious topic that people have been debating about for years. Everywhere you turn the topic of abortion presents itself, on TV, in the newspapers, in books and magazines. It already has, and will continue to cause, controversy for years to come. As long as abortion remains legal, pro–life advocates will continue to protest what they believe to be these horrible acts of murder.
Dating all the way back to the 1800's, abortions have been taking place all over the world. In the US abortion laws were created around 1820 stating that women would not have abortions after already being pregnant for four months. Then by 1900 most abortions were outlawed. It has a genetic make up from the time of creation, therefore making it a living thing. It was argued that the fetus was just a mass of tissue that wasn't really alive, but it has been proven that it is indeed a human being.
The concept fetus is used to denote the unborn human from the end of the eighth week after conception to the moment of birth, as distinguished from the earlier embryo (the product of conception from implantation in the uterus through the eighth week of development). A fetus contains all the organs and has the basic human form. (Rand)
So when we take the life of a fetus, we are taking the life of another human being.
Looking at abortion from a religious viewpoint, abortion is a mortal sin. Taking the life of a human being is the greatest sin a human can commit. If it is not acceptable to take the life of a 5 year old, an 18 year old, or a 50 year old, then why is it acceptable to take the life of a human who hasn't even had the chance to live yet? The point is it shouldn't be. Taking a life, no matter what the age is, is morally wrong. An unexpected pregnancy is no reason to abort the baby. If someone is mature enough to make the decision to have sex, they should be mature enough to do it properly, and if they do not, they should live with the consequences of their actions. The only way to totally prevent a pregnancy is to practice total abstinence, which is the only birth control that is 100%. Practicing
Arguments Against Abortion
The issue with laws against abortion is that they are based on the individual's morality and religion, but laws are not meant to appease one's conscious, they are meant to uphold the rights of man. Every woman and man under the United States Constitution is granted civil liberties and when President Trump delivered his Executive order, it breached people's civil liberties by denying them access to healthcare. Whether abortion is morally correct, is up for debate, but a government should not be able to ban or defund such means for a woman to uphold her own civil liberties. When any President reinstates the "Mexico City Policy," he forces health providers to fire staff, reduce their services, or close their entire clinics. Prohibiting abortion...show more content...
Should women abort their children? It's not a question as to if they should or should not, because it is happening. Despite whether an individual or the President thinks abortion is not okay, is irrelevant. Abortion is a prevalent issue not because it's legal but because people chose to abort. The government has no right to tell a woman whether or not to give birth, it abridges her civil liberties as a free American citizen, yet that is exactly what denying access to abortion amounts to. Sippel describes her opposition to the reinstatement of the "global gag rule" in her article, Silence on Abortion Equals Death. There she reminds the reader that it is not solely an end of taxpayers money going to abortion but it "pulls all global health assistance, including for programs that address infectious diseases like malaria, Zika and Ebola"(Sippel). As well as ending international funding, it restricts funding for clinics that provide contraceptives, pregnancy care, and sexual education. Proven by statistics from various surveys on abortion, although the intention of this Executive Order is to stop abortion, it does not; and while doing so, results in more casualties and birth defects. Due to lack of funding for non–profit healthcare organizations, such as Planned Parenthood, there is an increase in the risk of the spread of sexually transmitted diseases and unsafe abortions. Defunding abortion means "eliminat[ing] the clinics", clinics "which provide a host of other vital services to poor women around the world"(Kuntzman). It's not the act of abortion that is the issue, it's the lack of prevention to an ongoing problem that is the

Since the Darwinian Revolution of the 19th century our society has turned upside down. Everything under the sun had become questionable, the origin of life, how we came to be, where are we headed and what to do in the here all became questions in life. But one of the greatest impacts of this new age thinking is its effect on our Old World values. Western societies values, morals and ethics became debatable, with some people striving for change and others clinging for stability. Battle lines had been drawn and the Liberals and Conservatives were ready to duke it out on a number of issues. One of these debates centers on a woman?s right to have and abortion. The Biblical understanding of life isn?t the only religious argument that opposes abortion and its practice. Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam and many other world faiths have a similar stance on the topic at hand. Hinduism claims that the soul enters the embryo at the time of conception and abortion should hence be outlawed except in the case of rape or incest. Buddhism takes a similar stance and claims abortion is ?murdering?, yet also states that each case should be individually analyzed. Islam considers abortion as a moral crime and sees life (its start finish) as the jurisdiction of God. Islamic law states that abortion is illegal except in those situations in which the woman?s life is in jeopardy. The question that arises after examining these numerous perspectives is how can these practices which violate or threaten our fundamental beliefs be tolerated? The critics of the ant–abortion perspective, ?pro–choice?, have arguments of their own. First and foremost they argue that biblical law and its perspectives are codes of life for believers and in a pluralistic society this view shouldn?t be a reference or a deciding factor. One could imagine how it would be to have another foreign view imposed on us so why would anyone impose their views on others or the society at large? Other pro–choice arguments have went to claim that abortion isn?t immoral because morality is subjective hence people decide on their own what is
Argumentative Essay On Anti Abortion
Currently there are many controversial issues in the world, but one of the most famous talked about issues is abortion. There are always two sides to every argument and in this issue both sides have very compelling points to their arguments. On the one hand, there is the prochoice movement in which people believe women have the right to choose if they keep their fetus or not. Anti–abortion is the other movement in which people believe the fetus has a right to live. Like many controversial issues no one can say for sure that their argument is right and the other is wrong.

A mother wakes in a hospital room only hours after giving birth to her newborn infant. She turns over in her bed slowly because the pain from her Cesarean is unbearable. She reaches over and grabs her newly born infant and starts ripping its limbs off. Although that might seem graphic, the question is, is she committing murder or is it her choice. The obvious answer would be murder, but why would you believe it is murder and not her right to terminate the infant's life. In all truthfulness if you look at the facts abortion should be considered murder. Just because the fetuses are in a woman's body does not mean those fetuses should have less rights then a one day old infant. Yes, the uterus is part of a woman's body, but the fetus itself is a body which means it should have the right to live. There is already so much death in the world, we as human beings should not be killing innocent fetuses that probably could be the very lives who help save this

Banning Abortion
For many years now people have debated over abortion. Legally a woman can have an abortion when she is up to 24weeks pregnant except if the mothers' life is in danger. Some people see this as killing innocent babies but others see it as a rescue for teenage mothers' etc.
Abortion was only legalized in 1861but was only carried out if the mothers life was at risk. However this changed with the introduction of the Abortion Act (1967) by the Liberal MP David Steel. This allowed a woman to have an abortion if there was a risk or injury to her or her existing children's physical or mental health but the mother must have the permission of two doctors. In 1990 the law was changed again:...show more content...
This is similar to the suction procedure except that the abortionist inserts a curette, a loop–shaped steel knife up into the uterus. He then cuts the placenta and baby into pieces and scrapes them out into a basin. Bleeding is usually profuse. D & X (Partial Birth)
Also used for advanced pregnancies. The cervix is dilated to allow passage of a ring forceps. A foot or lower leg is located and pulled into the vagina. The baby is extracted in breech fashion until the head is just inside the cervix. The baby's legs hang outside the woman's body. With the baby facedown, scissors are plunged into the baby's head at the nape of the neck and spread open to enlarge the wound. A suction tip is inserted and the baby's brain is removed. The skull collapses and the baby is delivered. Sharp and suction curettage is continued until the walls of the womb are clean.
These methods may seem cruel but a baby can have distasterous affects on the mothers' lives. If abortions were made illegal the number of teenage or unmarried pregnacys' would rise dramatically. Also, victims of rape or incest may not want to have the baby, as it would remind them of their terrible experiences. A lot of teenagers would be unable to cope with a baby; a lot of teenagers are getting pregnant at the age of 13/14. To have to bring up a baby could take away any chance of a career and the baby

Therefore, improving access to abortion care without restriction would ensure that all women are able to make the decision that is best for them regarding childbearing when faced with an unintended pregnancy because of rape or incest. At the same time, the supporters of abortion believe that the life of mother should be considered first in case of rape or incest since the life of the unborn baby is absolutely depend on what happens to the mother. Therefore, the supporters of abortions argue that the value of the life of the mother supersedes the nonhuman fetus and there is a moral obligation to the living (Medoff 159).
Those who oppose abortion on the other hand, believe in the equality of human being, and argue that the unborn baby has a right to life (McCoyd 136). The basis for the opponents of abortion is "life begins at conception and that abortion is tantamount to murder since the fetus is a person with the same legal and moral rights as a "living" person" (Medoff 159). The opponents of abortion believe that life is sacred, and no one has the authority to eliminate it, and the Roman Catholic Church strongly supports this position by calling "the development of craniotomy and removal of the fetus from women as disabling and fatal condition for women" (McCoyd 136). Similarly, to further support this position, at the 1994 International Conference on Population and Development in Cairo, Egypt, delegates from the Vatican demanded that all references to unsafe abortions be
Reflection Paper On Abortion
I, as any other person, have beliefs that I feel very strongly about. The belief I feel most strongly support is pro–life. Abortion is a very controversial topic in today's world, with there being many different opinions on the matter. The two ends of the spectrum are pro–life and pro–choice. There are those that believe that abortion is always wrong, and there are those that believe abortion is always the choice of the mother. In between these two extremes are those who are more moderate. Some of these moderates believe in abortion up to a certain status of the growth of the fetus, and there are others who believe abortion is acceptable in cases of rape. I personally believe that abortion is wrong in every case. My opinion on abortion has been shaped and strengthened by many factors throughout my life, with some of these factors being: my parents, Christianity, and Fox News. Without these factors, there is a high probability that my opinion on the subject could be different. I personally believe that abortion is wrong in every case because I believe that the fetus, or unborn child, deserves a chance to live, despite any circumstances. Cases of rape, endangerment of the mother's life, and endangerment of the child's life during childbirth are more controversial and often harder to justify, but I believe the fetus always deserves the chance to live. In the case of rape, I believe that abortion is still wrong. Although the mother has been violated in the most heartbreaking way, the unborn human being still has extensive value and worth. An article I read on Save the Storks states, "Why does my sister have any less value, or right to life, because of how she was conceived?" (McDowell n. pag.). This quote is from Sean McDowell. His youngest sister, who was adopted by his family shortly after her birth, was conceived in rape. The birth mother was only fourteen years of age when she gave birth to the girl. Although the baby was conceived in a terrible way, the mother chose to give the baby life and now the baby is a grown woman and living a joyful life. If this baby had been aborted, this baby would have never lived a full life. Thus, many lives would have been affected, including the lives of McDowell's family.

Abortion has been a debate that has always been a sensitive subject that continues to divide Americans in the United States. Pro– choice advocates for women's rights ultimately to decide, for pro–life fundamentally is totally against abortion, the fight for preserving all human life regardless of the saturations and concerns. Substantially, abortion is a topic that has risen more controversial throughout the years, even in politics it has been a debate for the nation, in the Republican and Democratic party. In these cases, an abortion is necessary to save the mother. What will happen if abortion was not allowed and mother died, letting the baby live how will the father and family mourn the loss of their love one. When in fact it could have been prevented by abortion. Unexpected outcomes can arise at any stage during pregnancy, this why it's important abortion be legal. In fact, both lives can be in great danger when there are complications. The Christian and Catholic Church have moderated their views under these circumstances. In accordance to "The Christ Covenant Church of America" article, today both religions, pastors and theologians allow mother to terminate the pregnancy to preserve their own life. Religion permits in making this decision. In what the family decides honors Sanctity of Life. Christianity permits these act as a self–defense, in preserving life. This is biblical right is extendable to the defense of others (Feinberg 92). In the book of "Ethics for a Brave New World", certain criteria must be analyzed before a couple decides abortion. Abortion in America is a controversial issue in which both
sides have valid arguments at face value. The pro–choice side has many
arguments to support it belief in keeping abortion legal. Many of these are
faulty, and argue points irrelevant to the issue as I will attempt to
illustrate, thereby eliminating the main pro–choice arguments.
The pro–life position has somewhat different ideas. The most
popular of these is: The unborn entity is fully human from the moment of
conception. Abortion results in the intentional death of the unborn entity.
Therefore, abortion can be defined the intentional killing of a human being.
This killing is in most cases unjustified, since the unborn human being has a...show more content...
The reason this argument doesn't work is because it is begging
the question. In fact, this lie hides behind a good percentage of the popular
arguments for the pro–choice position. One begs the question when one assumes
what one is trying to prove is correct.
The question–begging of the coat–hanger argument is very obvious: but only by
assuming that the unborn are not fully human does the argument work. If the
unborn are not fully human, then the pro–choicer has a legitimate concern,
just as one would have in overturning a law forbidding appendicitis
operations if countless people were needlessly dying of both appendicitis and
illegal operations. But if the unborn are fully human, this pro–choice
argument is the same as saying that because people die or are harmed while
killing other people, the state should make it safe for them to do so.
Even some pro–choicers, who argue for their position in other ways, admit
that the
coat hanger/back–alley argument is crap. Although statistics cant establish
a particular moral position, there has been arguments over both the actual
number of illegal abortions and the number of women who died as a result of
them before legalization. Prior to Roe vs Wade, pro–choicers used saying that
nearly a million women every year obtained illegal abortions performed

An abortion is also known as a termination, meaning to terminate, to stop. An abortion is when you stop a pregnancy, by removing the foetus from the womb.
Many people frown upon abortions, as they see them as the killing of a life. Other people believe that it is a 'potential' life, and that a foetus is not considered to be a child.
Some people feel that in a situation where the prospective parents are told their unborn child may be disabled, an abortion is acceptable.

This quote shows that Christians believe that only God should decide who should live or die. It implies we should not choose our own deaths, or choose whether someone else should live or die, and that we only take our memories and things we have learnt when we die.
This quote could be construed that Christian belief is against abortion. Abortion would deny a foetus the chance to experience life, and gain knowledge and memories.
I believe that the quote has a valid opinion, but on the other hand, understand that people cannot always provide for a child, or may have a medical problem which could cause them harm is they went through with a pregnancy. They should be allowed the freedom to choose whether they want an abortion, but should only use this as a last resort. Careless pregnancies should not happen, as people should take more care, and use contraceptives.
If what God says is right, and what he does sets a precedent, then why does he kill? In the story or Noah, God wiped out the whole world (except for a few people and animals), just because it did not please him that the world had turned out the way it did, as it was not what he had planned. Most people don't know the pros and cons of abortion? Abortion is what a female does for various reasons, but many times for all the wrong reasons. There is multiple different ways females could go to rather than to just choose the worst way. Even though some people think abortion is right at certain times, abortion is wrong and surrogate should be used, because there is no reason to kill a child that hasn't had the right to live yet. Abortion should never be the first option once getting pregnant. Some people say they are against abortion, but would accept abortion if it was rape. "Law & Order special victim unit" states that a women can't become pregnant after rape because their body has a instinct to make their body reject the action and the eggs to be fertilized.(Law & Order SVU) Even though females claim rape on many cases if they become pregnant doctors have proven that the person had to of enjoyed some part of the sexual contact. People also get abortion for ignorant reasons that should never be legal to do. Females use excuses how they aren't ready to have a baby yet, but they use other excuses as in they don't want to ruin their body, or their relationships with people close to them. Furthermore they get an abortion so they don't have to deal with it. "Women always loth to talk about the more visceral elements of female reproductive physicality are too ashamed, or unconfident in their reception, to discuss their terminations, even with friends or partners. This brings about the curious circumstance that, while pretty much everyone must have someone dear to them who has had an abortion, the chances of them actually discussing it with them are remote. Most women don't tell friends family or their spouse about getting abortions normally."(Caitlin, M, n/d .Therefore it is usually not nobody but the mother's decision to get the abortion. Although most people would think relatives close to them would know about something major like this, they usually don't. A option instead of abortion is a surrogate mother and/or adoption, there's so many women on this earth that cannot conceive children for different reason, but would love to have children. The only bad thing about surrogate is how

Every year their is a ratio of 200 abortions per 1000 births. Regardless of how many abortions happen every year women should still have the full right to abort if they want to abort their child. The definition of abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. Also women are getting treated differently whenever they get an abortion but they have their own rights. Some women just can't afford having a child so they terminate their pregnancy. Not to mention, other people don't understand the reasons of why women get abortions. All women should get to feel like their decision was the right decision. All around the world, babies are being born every several minutes, yet numerous people are also becoming homeless every several minutes, occasionally it is the newborn babies. Lately, various amounts of children have had their own children too, as a result of it not being illegal to have a child until you're 18 or older. Thus, they've been needing extra homes or orphanages for the people who can't provide for those kids. This is due to people saying it's their own fault they're pregnant, and that they need to either keep the child or hand it over to adoption. Although people dislike abortion as a result of people saying they would be ending a life... these people clearly haven't researched enough on how deranged a child in an orphanage can become....show more content...
To put it simply, generally no one is going to say yes, I wish I had been aborted, but a woman who is too young to carry for her child or is not prepared for pregnancy and responsibilities such as having a child should be able to have an abortion. Another opinion that's thrown around is that it's the woman's body, therefore it's the woman's choice what she wants to do with the baby. Science states that,"...abortions are performed within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. During this time there is no scientific doubt that the developing fetus is incapable of any form of conscious awareness. The fetal brain does not begin to develop until 3–4 weeks into the pregnancy... Between weeks 4 and 8 this neural tissue grows, forming the major divisions of the adult brain... By the end of the first trimester (12 weeks) nerve cells are beginning to form rudimentary connections between different areas of the brain. However, these connections are sparse and incapable of performing the same functions as an adult brain...although the fetus is certainly starting to look like a little human, the neural circuits responsible for conscious awareness are yet to develop." Heartbeat or not I believe, once a doctor confirms that you are pregnant, that you have a small child, innocent child, a gift , growing in your body. My belief on abortion is very black or white, and most people don't agree. I was taught not to judge others for their opinions but the facts that support my argument are God based, emotional, and proven documentation. I don't judge other people's opinions but this paper is about my beliefs, and is it my that are my rights to have.

Studies show that, "As early as eight to ten weeks after conception, and definitely by thirteen–and–a–half weeks, the unborn experiences organic pain...." (Abortionfacts.com)...show more content...
I raised in church and murder is murder and a sin is a sin. If God gives you a baby it is because he wants you to have a baby.
"Is abortion murder? All killing isn't murder. A cop shoots a teenager who appeared to be going for a gun, and we call it justifiable homicide – a tragedy for all concerned, but not murder. And then there's war...( Abortionists agree – abortion is killing By Sarah Terzo) My argument is that murder is murder, one person takes another life it is murder. The facts are black and white abortion is murder, at any point after a baby is made, someone is taking a life, and that is
